The Goats Project benefits so many underprivileged families in the rural areas.
Unlike many other herding animals, goats can adapt well to various kinds of environments even in the harsh Tanzania climate. As a livestock, goats are easy to tend to and when properly cared for, a goat can yield a family some of the most valuable goat products including but not limited to:
It’s also a good thing that goats have a shorter reproduction cycle. This means that the beneficiaries of this project can already gain from raising goats at a relatively shorter period of time.
In this project, we teach kids how to raise their own goats in their backyards. We educate them on how to breed goats and keep them healthy. Veterinary assistance will be provided by the organization as needed.
